About Me

Personal Bio 

I'm Steven Wilkinson, a fully qualified Physics & Environmental Science Teacher working in Scotland, currently based at Dunblane High School. I have over 13 years experience in all courses from BGE, National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher Physics, as well being an SQA marker for the National 5 Physics Exam & Assignment and the AH Physics Project.

I hold a BSc (Hons) degree in Physics and Astronomy and a PGDE in Secondary Physics with Science Teaching, both from the University of Glasgow.

I'm passionate about raising participation, engagement and attainment in Science among young people across Scotland. This has led me to develop the ‘Physics Scotland’ learning platform, which is used in schools nation-wide both in the public and private education sector, to support young people’s progress in Science.

So, no matter what stage in the learning process your young person is at; from taking their first steps into secondary education, through to senior phase and Advanced Higher examinations, I can provide guidance on how to study effectively and help them develop skills that they need to achieve.
